Clocked Times didn't round on Timesheets

While approving timesheets in Timesheets and View Timesheets you might notice rounding hasn’t applied and wonder why this has occurred. Depending on how your rounding settings are set, if you do have rounding set to round the shift times to the roster but notice none of the times have rounded, it will be for one of two reasons:

  • Roster wasn’t entered for the staff member or
  • Roster wasn’t entered in time for the shift for the staff member:

In the example above, you can see that there is no R: below the shift time. This indicates there isn’t a roster in the system for this staff member so the clocked time becomes the paid time.

You won’t be able to retrospectively add a roster now for it to automatically round, you will just have to click in the shift box to update the time if it is incorrect.

If you do notice that there is both an R: and a C: below the shift time but it still hasn’t rounded, this is most likely that the roster was entered after the staff member had clocked in.

You can always double check with Support by emailing support@tanda.co if you are concerned. Otherwise, as above it’s just a case of updating the shift time, you could also click on the time next to the R: to automatically fill in this time in the shift box.
